She is a great example of how consistency pays off – she is at the gym every morning at 5:30 am taking spin or strength fusion! We love her positive attitude and infectious smile. She is also an amazing athlete who has passed along her athletic genes to her mini-ninja’s! Congrats Suzy!!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Q & A” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center” google_fonts=”font_family:Oxygen%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_separator color=”custom” el_width=”60″ accent_color=”#4c4c4c”][vc_column_text]
I started working out with Mo-Mentum because it was right around the corner from my house. I didn’t know how much I was going to like working out at a gym! My working out before Mo-Mentum was running around after kids or going for long runs with a friend. I like the variety of classes that are offered. There is no way to have a boring workout, they change everyday.
Working out with Mo-Mentum has had a positive impact on my life and on my family. I have three girls that have been having fun in the ninja warrior classes with Sierra and Callie. They love to visit the gym! They came and watched me do a lifting class with Steve. It’s great that they see the importance of physical strength and mental strength. I would say that I work out just for me but it benefits my family too. Working out definitely helps me with my focus and my mood.
Make time for yourself… even if it is at 5am. Practicing gratitude also plays into having a healthy life.
Snacks need to be easy. My default is usually an apple and almond butter.
What health/fitness goal are you most proud of achieving?
Lately my health goals have been focused on better nutrition. I have been doing well with working out consistently so now I am trying to be consistent with my nutrition.
How has working out helped you in other areas of life?
Starting my day in the gym before my family wakes up gives me time to organize my thoughts for the day. When I get home I am wide awake and ready for whatever life has for me. Mo-mentum is swarming with supportive and positive people. I love the morning crew and feel like I am missing out when I don’t make it to class.
